7.  Why do adults have to see a doctor for the first dental visit when all that they want is to get their teeth

    cleaned?

The doctors provide a thorough dental examination prior to a dental cleaning.  This ensures that the patient is receiving the correct type of cleaning.  It also allows the doctor to look at the patient’s overall dental health in order to provide a proper treatment plan.

8.  Why won't you submit our insurance claim?

Our office does not utilize insurance as the primary form of payment.  It is the patient’s responsibility to submit the claim.  We provide an insurance form that is filled in with  proper treatment information.  The patient will only need to mail/fax the insurance form. This will ensure that the patient directly receives reimbursement for the dental service.

11.  Can we see just one of the doctors or do we have to rotate through the practice (seeing all of the

       doctors)?

There are 4 doctors in our office.  We prefer to assign you to one of the doctors in order to build a good doctor/patient rapport.  We believe it allows for more consistent dental care.  If a dental emergency arises and your doctor is not available, you will then be asked to see one of the other doctors in the office who has available appointment time.
